Rick Brattin for 55th District Rick Brattin is running for 55th District as a member of the Republican party.

Rick Brattin (b. July 22, 1980) is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 55. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. In his first term, he was appointed House Majority Floor Whip and received the Freshman Legislator Award as a prolific lawmaker sponsoring and co-sponsoring over 75 bills in his first term sessions.

Rick graduated from Lee's Summit High School. His professional experience includes working as the owner and operator of a family construction company. Brattin served as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps.
